I have never personally been raped. I know no one that has ever been raped. I just know what I have heard on television. I just have to say that, what a horrid thing it must be. What a feeling of loss one must have when raped. It must feel like an entity that tortures you, if not your whole life, then at least many years. I have heard a story that one girl was devilishly raped and she scrubbed her skin untill it was red. She said that she felt dirty. When someone steals from you the most important gift that one could ever lavish their spouse with, what a feeling they must feel. I have recently heard of molestations and rapes on college campus' near me and the Walmart five minutes down the road. One girl was molested in a parking lot on the campus of Clemson University. One girl was raped at the Central Walmart five minutes away from my college. It scares me bacause I shop at that Walmart. My friends shop at Walmart. A man walked up to her car, told her that his car had broken down, and then asked for a ride. She gave him a ride. He then put a gun to her head and then raped her. He got out of the car and walked away. It is very important for the young girls that are reading this to go with caution! Just be careful!
Rape.. It ruins your innocence! It turns into an entity of your childhood.

My cousin knew a girl that had headed down the wrong path. She was really a nice girl who just came and tried to sell tickets for wrestling. This girl was too much of a partier and took drugs. She went to a party with guy friends and those guys killed her. They had other girls hidden in a shelter and they tortured the girls. The guys intimidated them and used that one girl as an example if the other girls tried to get help or tell someone.
They tried to hide the evidence of killing this girl so they burnt her body in a field. It was here in Arizona and this girl's classmates at Ceasar Chavez High School will never forget this incident. Rape causes emotional damages, but sometimes people endure it to the point of death.
I actually know the family of a woman that was strangled, cut into pieces, and then burnt. A guy in my class was this guys neighbor. He said that he could smell the flesh burning. Its hard to believe that stuff like this actually happens to people.
Rape is indeed horrible. I know of this girl that attended my school and she was raped after school one day but she didn't let the rape ruin her life. She was about 16 at the time so she was very brave. She came to school a few days later and she was fine. She didn't let the rape get the best of her. Unfortunately, her rapist still hasn't been found. I am just glad that she is doing better and she moved on and she graduated last year. The moral to that story is: Bad things happen but with strength and encouragement, you can recover.
People are affectedly differently by rape, and more often than not, a person can continue with their daily lives, and seem happy and healthy. But I don't think that pain really ever fully goes away and will forever haunt the victims.
