Everyone knows that once you get to college, you have some of the best times, get some great memories, and also meet new friends. Well i'm sure that most of these times, and memories will include alcohol. I don't understand why alcohol is such a great thing. Coming from someone that has two different violations from underage concumption, it really isn't worth it. i didn't think either of the nights that i was drunk and was caught by the cops was worth the drinking, and the making a fool out of myself. Why is letting your self go lose, and do whatever such a fun task? I'm not trying to write this and be hypocritcal, yes i've had my nights and yes they did include alcohol. I'm not too proud of them either. I just want to know what is so thrilling about getting so plowed that you don't remember parts of the night, puking all night, or even making a fool out of your self. And not to mention what you feel like the next day. I can see how this can be fun for some people, but i don't think i understand the staying out all night, and drinking your self stupid every weekend. is there a point to getting totally plowed and not remembering what your doing, or hooking up with some random person? i totally agree with the saying ' a lonely night, has no awkward morning.' yes, i have been there as well. i didn't think it was that great, i don't remember it, but i do remember the morning afterwards. i felt like a slut, a whore, and i made a complete fool out of myself. When I go to parties anymore, i like to be the sober one that can walk out and get into my car and drive my self home. That brings up another point, drunk driving. is it really worth the risk?
So next time you plan on going out and getting 'plowed' just think about it, is it really worth it? is there a point to getting totally trashed?

Well, based on the descriptions of your alcohol experiences, it seems you haven't learned about the phrase, drink responsibly. Just because someone drinks alcohol doesn't mean they are gonna be so smashed they can't walk. At an given party, out of like the 20 people who are drinking, only like 3-4 will really get like that (based no my party experiences) The rest get drunk, yes, but not to the point were they are puking everywhere, and have been blacked out for like 2 hours.
Same thing really goes for all drugs. Yeah, they can lead to stupid things, but in the long, if you do whatever responsibly, then you'll be fine.
except the thing is... drinking leads to more drinking...
and few can actually do it responisbly.
There have just been WAY too many deaths by drunk driving, to say that its okay...
its not even good for the person doing it!
I mean, this blog is pretty darned good in my opinion. Is getting drunk really worth it?
I dont think so.
