obesity in america is to high

obesity has increased of the years it is all cause of fast food and T.V. Don't get me wrong i eat fast food and watch tv but in small amounts like i eat fast food only once every 2 weeks. i watch T.V on raining days and when i go to bed. another big thing is video games and cell phones. when i was 8 videos games sucked and cell phones where big I am only 16 but still. Video games have gotten huge over the years because it is easy to play and don't need to move your body only thing you move is your arms. also cars we are so fat we can make the earth flip upside down because we are so fat. we need to all get on a treadmill or ride a bike around a little but something to get exercise and less fast food if we do that do you how wonderful our health will be we would be saving over thousands of dollars on this. if you want to be healthy all you need to relax stress is another big thing Americans have to do in today's world. i think we all should take 20 minutes and walk out side and look at our good earth and see how wonderful it is and leave stress. obesity is a big thing in today's world so go outside and do something active for at least 2 hours.

Processed foods are just as bad as fast food. A lot of families eat a diet that mainly consists of processed, boxed or bagged foods. The U.S. is way out of whack when it comes to our food instincts.

I second the previous comment.
If we study the heathiest and longest-living cultures in the world, we'll find a couple things lacking from that culture's regular diet: fast food and processed food.

I live in Japan, which has the longest life expectancy out of all developed nations. Here, some people may occationally eat at a fast food place, but certainly not the majority of the people, and not often. Although their diets don't include a huge amount of fresh, uncooked food, they use high-quality and fresh foods to cook with.

Americans just need to wake up and realize they're poisoning their bodies with the typical lifestyles. It's doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if you put crap in, your body will feel like crap, work like crap, and you may end up looking like it too.

When it comes to food in America, it's all nurture over nature.

I hate fast food, with the exception of an occasional visit to Taco Bell. I haven't had McDonald's in about 2 and a half years, it's disgusting and always made me nauseous. I haven't had Burger King in even longer. I stay away from that junk as much as possible.

Another flaw in America is how processed food is so much cheaper than natural and organic food. Oodles of noodles cost four for a dollar here, and some flavors are five for a dollar, which is very attractive when thinking about your wallet. But they've got a decent amount of fat and sat fat, and a CRAP LOAD of sodium. A lemon at my local supermarket is 69 cents. At the produce store they're four for a dollar, but most people enjoy one stop shopping, so they avoid eating healthy for cost. I used a lemon as an example because it's the only price I remember, and because they're small. You can get a three packets of oodles of noodles for almost the same price as a lemon at the supermarket. That's one reason America is so unhealthy, haha. And that's my big lemon cost to ramen noodle cost ratio rant, haha.
