These are just some interesting things I read today:
-The 2000 Census counted 3.9 million households with three or more generations.
-There are 70.4 million children in the United States and 16 percent of them live in poverty.
- A middle-income family with a child born in the year 2000 will spend about $165,630 to raise that child for 17 years. The average cost of raising a child born in 1960 was $25,230 for 17 years.
- About 43 percent of first marriages end in separation or divorce within 15 years.
- A CDC report found that the older the bride is, the longer the marriage will last.
- Effective prenatal treatment, breastfeeding and immunizations are three important factors in the well-being of children.
A lot of things I read say that young couples are more likely to divorce than older ones, and that living together before marriage also leads to a more likely divorce. But my boyfriend and I are moving in together soon and we are young. I hope that we never divorce, obviously, because I love him so much and we are great together.
What do you guys think about young marriages? I mean like age 18-20. And how about having kids young? Like 20-22? A lot of these type of relationships have been happening in my school/town lately.

I think couples that are older (like maybe 25ish or 30ish)will last longer. Because they have lived more. They know what they want. As with young couples, they are starting out.
