I don't really care if you have roots in the red or blue. You may consider yourself conservative and Christian or liberal and environmentally focused. You may very well be a mix of all these ideologies and find the whole political party concept tired and out of touch. Wherever you find yourself, we must realize the power we hold to bring real change to a government that has tarnished the reputation of America and the oval office. 2008 is the year we can all step into the voting box and declare our position.
The truth is, this president has burned a lot of bridges with our neighbors around the globe. He has emboldened enemies, soured relations with allies, and let much of the economy fall apart while paving the way to higher profits for large corporations.
There once was a time when politicians would make decisions based on what was the wisest choice for the people and not depending along the party rhetoric or who was in line for the next kickback.
As the year moves forward I want to focus on bringing certain issues to light that will help us turn our country back around and recover the Office of the President as a position that serves the people.
We have the power to recover the Office of the President
