Black People are Taking Over This Town

Tagged:  •    •    •    •

All my life I have heard the fraise “ Black people are taking over this town” and now they have. All the elected officials in the Chamber of Commerce and the City Council are black. I ask who better to do the job? Black people see the future while white people are stuck in the past trying to right their wrongs. My generation had to grow up and accept black people and their race as a dominate force. When I was a young buck black people were hungry and wanted what had for so long been denied them because of the color of their skin. They were the most aggressive on the courts and the fields. As the white grip loosened on political offices blacks got their foot in the door. Looking at it from my elders stand point I can see the fear and animosity of seeing their nightmares come true. I know this is scary for the older generation but let it go already. We have to move past hatred and racial slurs. America could be the most powerful nation in the world if blacks and whites put aside their differences and work together as a nation. Its not a competition. Through their thoughts and insight their the best people for jobs in government and elected offices. If we work to gather and stop see life as a battle between two races we could pioneer technological advancement. The internet and wireless communication are area this nation could sore if we could put aside our conflictions. So just sit back and let nature run its course. Trust in equal rights and justice and know that it’s the right thing to do. Open your arms to all races, creeds, and cultures. Free your minds to wonder unlimited facets of change.

Very progressive :)

There is a time to live, and a time to die. But now it the time to break it down!

I got a little scared in the beginning, I thought it was a racist rant, but I'm surprised; it ended well. I completely agree, "United we stand, divided we fall"

A fraise is a strawberry (in French, that is).
A phrase is something people say.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the way you worded things. Also, I totally agree with the message of this post!
