HI anyone who's reading this blog!! I've been gone for a minute but, now I'm back with more sports!! No basketball today, maybe I'll get in some later, but, today were're talkin' FOOTBALL!! Not the Super Bowl just yet, but close enough!!!! I'm talking about Ohio vs. Florida St.!!!!
Many people thought Florida State should not have been playing in the BCS Championship game but who really can pick a champion...Of course everyone thought Ohio St. would be the ones celebrating in the middle of the field, giving Troy Smith his trophy, going back to Ohio happy and glad to be a football player. Instead, they were the ones with the defeated look on their faces with the dream of that space in the trophy case being taken by a BCS achievement gone.
In this game, there was alot to talk about: The 100 years celebration of Florida St. playing football, the 90 years it took them to win there second championship, the quarterback with a special story[Chris Leak], and the back-up QB with an answer. You had two black quarterbacks on each team, one heisman trophy winner in Troy Smith and finally when it was all said and done a 41-14 win over the the number 1 BCS team for Florida St....and you said you weren't surprise!! In my opinion the heisman trophy is something like a curse so to me it was a 80 to 40 chance that Florida was going to win...they didn't have a heisman.
Whether it was a surprise or not, give all props to Florida St. in their victory. They deserved it!!! True, Ohio wasn't any contest for them but who can be perfect with 20 wins. To those of us who were SURPRISED let's keep in mind who are the ones popping the cork off a champagne bottle with confetti in their mouths and the ones rethinking every second of that championship game asking themsevles WHY! And get that look of confusion off of your face and wait till next year.

i love when surprising things like that come straight outta nowhere cuz then people have no response to what has happened. gets everyone thinking that you never really know what can happen at any given time.
