Have you read yet the new book by Dr. William Kelleher, entitled PROGRESSIVE LOGIC? It gives a rationale for all progressives to use as they organize for a better world. It explains the fundamental underlying assumption that progressives have always believed but may not have articulated. It is a great tool to use in discussing or debating the case, or the issues about which you are concerned.
It is must reading for every progressive. I did not write the book, have no financial interest in it, and am only expressing how much I enjoyed reading it (in only two sessions, for it is a quick read.) I believe it is vital to know the contents of this little book. It offers reforms we can make in several areas, including in education, and in criminal justice and prisons.
The book just came out in paperback, for only $10 a copy, and is available from the author at that discount.
It also can be obtained from Amazon.com for a bit more, with faster delivery. It is published by the Empathic Institute, which has a homepage on the web, and that is where you can read the Introductory pages, as a free sample. You will discover that it is most readable.
