Tom Tancredo has formed an exploratory committee for the possibility that he might run in '08. I'll tell you why I like him- he stands for something. Secure Borders and Common Sense. Not only that, he's for lowering taxes, defining marriage as between a man and a woman, abolishing the Estate Tax, private accounts to supplement retiree's social security, killing terrorists, making sure planes don't get run into our buildings, and protecting fetuses.
Be sure to sign his petition ( http://teamtancredo.com/petition.php ) asking that he formally declare his candidacy.
Here's him announcing this on Fox News.

Im so glad this guy never went anywhere! lol! Why would you want to support someoen who wants to define marriage between one man and one woman!? lol! ha! How rediculous? Are you living in the stone age still!? Come on! Marriage is partially religious and partially Government. At least the GOVERNMENT should recognize it betweeen any two consenting adults. Your CHURCH can go beyond that and identify it between one man and woman for all I care, but the GOVERNMENT has no right to discriminate.

you really waited an entire year to make a post to make fun of President Bush, Conservatives and Christians?
odd that if there is just an 'itty bitty % that support Bush" that he won the election. Twice.
or perhaps you are referencing his approval rating? Which is nearly double that of the Democrat congress?
OMGD. you seriously think I waited a year to say this? lol. No, of course not. I just stumbled across your post and thought I might comment on it. And Bush did not technically win the election. I thought everyone knew that when a recount was done, that in everyway, Gore won Florida. Come one. And of course I was refering to his approval rating, what else would I be referencing? And the approval rating of the Congress? I agree! Im not happy with how they been acting either! They need to put their foot down and stop trying to cater to this monster George W. Bush. Grrr... At least we agree on one point.
Muah!

President Bush won the election. Twice. You would be correct to say that he did not win the total national popular vote in 2000, but we do not elect presidents based on popular vote. We have an electoral college.
Gore did not win Florida unless you took every buchanan vote and counted it for Gore, which is to suggest that no one in FL wanted to vote for Buchanan. (That would be silly to suggest, unless you were trying to whitewash history to say that Gore actually won and Presient Bush stole the election)
Not only did Bush win in 2000, but then he won by even more in 2004.
are you serious? When have they ONCE done that since the Dems took control? Holy Crap! They STILL haven't passed a war funding bill.... every time they put one up, they fill it with so much crap (both pork spending, but also little bigs and additions that alter how we fight or place conditions on unrelated things, which is standard practice in Congress) that the President has to veto it.
They fight him on everything and demonize him in everything. Name when the Democrat Conrolled Congress has 'catered' to President Bush.
Yeah, stupid congress couldn't approve a simple budget for the DoD, making it likely that some DoD civilians won't have a job in the coming months, since the DoD can't afford to pay them...

Check out the latest entry in the Between The Lines column!
Let's look at the long list of accomplishments of the Democrat Congress:
Raise in minimum wage (which will cause all goods and services to increase in price, which will nullify any raise in wage. Big losers? the lower class who make just barely above minimum wage, which did not get the same 40% wage increase of those who were on minimum wage, but still had a increase in costs nonetheless
New requirements for cars regarding fuel efficiency (Which will only drive up the cost of vehicles, and make them less safe as they'll have to consider vehicle weight and fuel efficiency ahead of vehicle safety. Big losers? the lower class who are already strapped for cash and wouldn't be able to afford the higher car payment of a more expensive car when they need to buy one. Banks, after all, don't like to loan money on used cars...)
.... Well, that's about it. I can't think of anything else that they've done since they took power . . . . except whine about the President.
And take days off for special vacations (like taking a day off during their "FIrst 100 hours" extravaganza, in which they were supposed to bring about sweeping changes and instead did nothing.... why'd they take the day off? The reason was "to watch a football game." They also took another half day off during that "First 100 hours" and spent the other half of the day having a big show with their kids there, instead of working.)
So, in the big and super important "First 100 hours" they took 48 hours to not work.
And continued that trend.
Meanwhile our soldiers and government employees are not getting the budget items they need..
