Another ex-DeLay aide pleads guilty

It turns out that another Tom Delay aide has pleaded guilty in the Abramoff lobbying scandal.  Tony Rudy accepted at least $86,000 from Abramoff while working for Tom Delay between 1997-2000.  He then went to work for Mr. Abramoff keeping in contact with the staff in Delay's office to help push the agenda of the day forward in Congress. 

I don't know about you, but with all the people around him falling from grace, I suspect it won't be too much longer before Mr. Delay joins them.  I don't know all the facts in his specific case, but from the company he kept...  I know you shouldn't judge one person by the actions of their friends, but in all reality, Delay had to know that his aides were taking bribes.  In addition, his wife was paid a six figure salary every year from Abramoff's company to gather data on which charities each Congress member liked best.  Seems like an awfully high salary for a job that might take a month tops.
