I dont know about you but I would like to see more recycling and more people upbeat about helping our earth. Every wednesday morning our reclycling man pulls up in his big, green, roaring truck (which I honestly think is putting out more pollution then a truck that represents a clean earth should) and comes and picks up our recycling bins. We have requested another recycling bucket because ours always gets overflowing and our recycling man complains (I usually just tell him "HEY LITTLE MISTER WE'RE SAVING THE EARTH!" Then he calls me a tree hugging hippie :( Thats off the subject though) and attitudes like that toward something so thoughtful are rediculous. I think that recycling should be required by all households. We are tearing our earth apart limb from limb and I hate seeing people sour about doing something so good. I only wish that my family alone could save the earth but we need your help. SO RECYCLATEERS GET YOUR REAR IN GEAR AND START RECYCLING!!! Everyone needs a little help once in a while and our beautiful earth has done more than its share of helping so give back to it a little please. It would give the children of mother earth a better, brighter, and happier future!

I know what you mean about getting another recycling bin- ours overflows every week!
And to be completely honest, I think it should be a law that you have to recycle. There are only positives to recycling, why wouldn't you do it?

I hear there is a program in Minneapolis, Minnesota that has a program about recycling. If the residents set out and utilize a recycling bin every week, the cost of their trash is free. This encourages citizens who may not otherwise care about recycling to participate since it saves them money in the end. Since I heard this from somebody in one of my classes who used to live there, I cannot speak about this program from firsthand experience. Anybody know more about it?
I like your idea about requiring people to recycle. Its not that hard to jsut throw your palstic bottle in a different bin is it? No. Or put a little box by your printer, so when you print off the wrrong paper or the printer messes up, put hte paper in the box and recycle all the paper you accumulate. Difficult? I think not.
