I did care allot at one time. I voted and even served as a member of the Marine Corps. I understand the personal growth gained and undeniable, though who is to say if I would not be the same person without being a veteran? Now as a full time student with a 3.9 GPA I have nothing but contempt for those in power and do not believe a word they say. I am now supposed to choose from their list of potential leaders and cast my vote. I vote for change!! and if that means not giving my consent to their lies and trickery then so be it. I see no options but to try and ignore their whole world. if I can ever get any real power it has to come from my will to be honest and true. My bank account may never be big but my personal integrity will be intact. They have nothing to offer but lies and death. who knows how many un_named, un_counted victims have been left for fertilizer in their killing fields while their infrastructure of power just grows. As long as the oil flows and their bank accounts grow they will tell us anything they think we need to hear and show us a new patriarch to vote for. different color same lies. new suit old sweat.

My bank account may never be big but my personal integrity will be intact.
Personal integrity sure seems a lot better than money, and that's the way it should be.
If politicians were real people who experienced an average life and sucky jobs, perhaps they'd be able to sympathise with the average American better. Don't pay them quite so much, and maybe the money won't sway opinions.

I don't know what state you're in, but I'm in Texas and it really doesn't much matter if I vote anyway. I mean chances are that the Republicans will win and it'll be just a waste of my time. You don't have to care for anything. I think it's a lot easier to just not care at all.
You go! You tall um what you think! I completely agree with you! Keep the good writing up!
