Studies have shown that different sides of the brain are responsible for different things. There are two ways of thinking. People have a preference of one side over the other. The right brain is responsible for logical, sequential, rational, analytical, and objective thinking. The right brain is also responsible for looking at things in parts. The left side of the brain is responsible for random, intuitive, holistic, synthesizing, and subjective thinking. The left brain looks at thinks as a whole. Most people have a preference of one side over the other, but some people are whole brained. Being whole brained means that they are equal on both sides. Most schools tend to use the right brain approach to work. Subjects that focus on using the right brain use logical thing, and analysis. English, chemistry, geometry, government, and geography are examples of right brained subjects. Subjects that use left brain focus on creativity and feeling. Dance, art, creative writing, poetry, and pottery are examples of subjects that use the left brain.
