I'm one of the late students for looking at scholarships and right now I'm scrambling to catch up. So I just thought it would be nice to post some helpful things I've found out for others who are looking at Colleges/Universities.
FASFA - if you've never heard this before you should defiantly look it up. It's the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. FASFA is a need based grant/scholarship that the government provides. You can fill out the app. online and from the form your EFC (Expected Family Contribution) is calculated. That is related to how much money you are eligible for. When I went to Cornish, they said the form takes the same information as taxes, so when your parents have their tax info out, just sit down with them and fill that baby out.
FastWeb.com - Defiantly check this site out. It has a long survey at the beginning but afterward they give you great information of scholarships you probably didn't even know existed before.
Colleges - Talk to any admissions employee at a College and they'll be happy to talk to you about scholarships/grants/student loans. My uncle works in admissions and he gave me a whole packet of information about all that good stuff.
And there is so many money ways of funding your College tuition, just get out there and ask questions!
For those of you who read my last riddle, I'll post the answer tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving all! :)

FAFSA sucks
It is so hard to get your parents tax info-when you live 200 miles away.
And it is 100% bs that I even need their info when I am the one paying for college..I just submitted mine-on the deadline-and I highly doubt I will be getting anything out of it.
Yeah I read in the FASFA information that even if you are elligble for money you probably won't get that much. But also, it's required for some colleges if you want need-based scholarship. They use it to give scholarships of their own, unrelated to FASFA.

The main reason I even bothered filling it out is because it seems like almost all of the good scholarships require you to have it filled out in order to apply.
