“The US is to file a formal complaint against China at the World Trade Organization (WTO) over high levels of copyright piracy and counterfeiting.” The
U.S. is finally making the right move. Too many times, there have been nothing but complaints coming from the
U.S. and its industries. China has continued to have piracy at such a high level that it is very harmful for the U.S. China also has the largest amount of surplus one country has ever had over another country. The Chinese government is not even trying to put enough pressure on its pirates. For if it did, this complaint would not be resulting. The Chinese government must develop jobs that are not counterfeiting or pirating. The jobs need to be “legit jobs.” Hopefully, this issue can get solved without the World Trade Organization. If it must come to the WTO, I hope the WTO rules in the favor of
