For those of you who do not know about the IC, there are Ugandan children as young as 5 being kidnapped from their homes in the middle of the night by rebel armies. These rebel armies are teaching the kids to become killers. For a more in depth look, there are video clips and stories here:

Every night, thousands of children walk into the city to stay the night in churches, hospitals, parks or wherever else they can pile. They commute to the city every night because the rebels kidnap children from their homes during the night. While their commute to the city is also dangerous, they would rather risk it than spend the night in their homes with the possibility of being abducted.

















Our school has a meeting every now and then to raise awareness, we even have t-shirts to get people thinking about this important issue.
