Harold Ickes was Hillary Clinton's main cohort at the DNC Committee Hearing on Saturday, May 31 for what to do with Michigan and Florida. He came out with the tough guy standpoint and kept saying statements like "You bet your ass I will." During his 6-minute rant, Harold Ickes said nothing. His major claim was that the DNC should not bend rules to allow Barack Obama to get the 4 extra delegates (which in actuality is more like 1) for the votes that Hillary didn't get in Michigan. However, a couple months ago when Hillary actually had a chance at winning and before the vote took place, Hillary said that the two states should vote but their delegates should not be seated. Now that she is in a panic mode for these seats, she wants the rules to bend for her, which could be deemed acceptable....
but if you are going to do this, then don't complain when the rules only bend a little bid towards you. And, furthermore, don't have a half-witted Harold Ickes back up your case to the committee. He was the least eloquent of all the members of the committee and obviously the least intelligent. Also, Hillary, you need to get your supporters under control. The one obnoxious woman kept interrupting and disrespecting the whole gathering with her loud complaints. She wouldn't even respect the chairwoman enough to give her the opportunity to tell the obnoxious lady to shut up. If these are the kind of people that are forming your base for the presidency, do you really think you are ready to lead the country?
