what i realized is important

Over the past few days, well more like weeks, I haven't liked myself very much. And recently since I've been thinking more about it, I never realized how important it is to like yourself for who you are. There is no one just like you, and no one can ever be like you either. God made you the way you are and I feel horrible that I didn't realize how special he made me. I'm really not like anyone else my age. I act a lot different than most and I think I'm more mature than most kids my age. I should be blessed that he gave me so much knowledge and that he helped me through everything I've been through. I do feel that I am a good person deep inside, I think I've just been letting stress get to me. I should learn to deal with stress differently than by taking it out on the one person who means a lot to me.

I think that believing in yourself will help you with anything you do; I need to learn that and follow it. Loving yourself opens so many doors for you, and it opens your mind to try new things. I do want to eventually have faith in myself, I mean more than I have had recently. I want to feel like I can make a difference in anything that I do.

I think that if people took the time to really realize how important and special they are, then they would have less problems and care about themselves more.

The second paragraph was very insightful and deep. These are some good thoughts that should be shared with others, but then again, that's what you're doing now isn't it?

Well, the only thing I disagree with is the need for god to feel that way. But hey, whatever floats your boat.

I know one thing for sure. God's love is unconditional. He loves us no matter who we are or what we do, no sin will stop him from loving us. I just read in a book that talks about how should find comfort in that God in all his amazing power is here for us.

Yeah, and I read in a book that aliens regularly visit and abduct people. The writer of that book very likely has the same kind of evidence as the writer of this book you read. Hearsay and personal expirience interpreted to reflect a viewpoint. I'd be shocked if there was anything more than that.

Sometimes it is so hard to love yourself when you try to take everything under your wing. You sound like me...you put a lot of stress on yourself. I agree that loving yourself will open so many more doors. I also agree that sometimes you have to ask for help and have faith that there is somebody who cares, and who sees the special things about you mention above, and blessed you with those qualities.
