No, but I do like to hear what my mom thinks about a guy because she's so much older and wiser than I am. I don't think teens give their parents enough credit these days. She's gone through some of the same things I go through, even though the world is more modernized and somewhat different today. I still respect her opinion and like to hear her thoughts because she tends to be right.
While I would not listen to them completely, I might take into consideration some of their advice, at least my mom's that is.
I would take my parents' suggestions about the "ideal mate" into consideration. But, it doesn't mean I have to listen to them.
