Now a days everyone owns an iPod. If not an iPod some sort of mp3 player. But be aware...listening to you iPod, talking on your cell phone..Or just simply using any electronic device will be ILLEGAL...and you will be FINED $100. I dont get it.Is this lawyer really trying to look out for the well being of everyone..Or, does he really have nothing else to do with his life.
He says: "You can't be fully aware of your surroundings if you're fiddling with a BlackBerry, dialing a phone number, playing Super Mario Brothers on a Game Boy, or listening to music on an iPod..

But I disagree with the fine, that's pretty out there. I mean I listen to mine when I cross the street but I don't fiddle with it...that's pretty much common sense when you're crossing the srteet or walking

"When people say, "I’m so tired it's not even funny" or "my head hurts so much it's not even funny", why would it even be funny in the first place?"
Its kinda dumb i may say.
Its not kinda dumb its really dumb. So basically its distracting is what they are saying.Well if they are going to ban other things that could cause you to be distracted then its the same problem with the radio in the car.people can get distracted by that. If they want to change it or whatever its noise too.I think that its ridiculous.
I agree. The comment on the car thing...tell ever car manufacturer that the cannot put radios in cars because it may cause major accidents and they will be fined.
It's true though. it is distracting and can be disrespectful.
How is it disrespectful? Who are we hurting by listening to music?
Common sense, much?
Then again, people have eyes as well as ears. Even if they cna't hear anything over blasting music, they should be able to see approaching cars.
People dont realize that. So i guess it would be totally wrong for a blind person to listen to their iPod.
While they're crossing the street? Yes.
This is probably just someone who is bored and dedided that they wanted to make a big deal out of nothing.
The lawyer is dumb for even pursuing this.
Most are. They think maybe they can get some publicity and their 5 minutes of fame.give me a break.
They not making themselves look like years of law school is worth it.
We all need a good laugh every now and then..
