The Da Vinci Code Movie and Book

I have seen the movie and I have read the book. I have also read some of the posts on the movie and book and what I don’t understand is why anyone would be upset with the content on either the book or the movie. It’s a fictional book and a fictional movie. Either you believe there is truth to it or you don’t. I believe that there could be truth to it just like there could be truth to the bible. I don’t think the bible is a book of facts or law I think it too is fictional the whole point of religion is not that is based on concrete facts and evidence to support its clams, but that its based on faith and if you have faith in the bible then who cares that the Da Vinci Code contradicts it after all its just fiction, on the other hand if you believe that the Da Vinci Code is closer to the truth than the bible well that’s good to, to each his or her own. It doesn’t harm anyone to believe in either.

I saw the movie it was ok for the most part but as always the book is much better.

Its just a different pt of view...

I think the only valid thing Christians have to be upset about is this.

many will take the movie to be plausible as you have. But unfortunately just as many will here that and not be as carefull with the facts and just accept it as truth.

And hence we we christians try to profess the truth of faith (which we beleive is based on historical facts not JUST FAITH) some people will argue with us from the back story of a work of fiction.

HOW DO YOU ARGUE WITH THAT?

But you still have a pt.

I personally STILL DON"T SEE what the BIG fuss is about

I saw the movie and read the book, but the book was much better. I think people were criticized it so much because it showed a relatively new perspective on the DaVinci code mystery. Catholics were angry because it went against their religion and its possible the the Catholic church had something to do with hiding what was really going on way way way back then.
