In our nations history we have always had a caucasian president. Either if they were democratic or republican always varied. Now, in 2008 the United State Citizens have an option to vote for the one we want to make history for our nation. When people vote for Hilary, do they vote because of her name that stands behind her, or are they voting for what they want her to do for our country? When people vote for Obama, are they voting just for the African American race, or are they voting for what he will do for this country. Republicans have put this country through so much lately. Bush has raised gas prices and lowered them as he pleases. We the U.S. Citizens need to find out which one of these democrats are going to make this country like it was when Clinton was in office? Just because these canidates gives us a brief speech on what they can do for us doesnt mean we jump up and vote. The best way to submit an accurate vote, do your research, listen to all the speeches before casting your votes. If your not old enought to vote just inspire one of those who are confused on who to vote for. Each vote counts. As of now its up to us who we want to represent us for the next 4 years, so please tell me who you would vote for while were in this situation.

I'm voting for Obama - turned 18 last month.
A piece of advice: spell-check your posts before you submit them.
/::) Now why are you voting Obama
1. He's a Democrat
2. He'll do miracles for our image in foreign policy just based on who he is
3. He's not the creep Clinton is
4. He has some really innovative ideas that could work
5. He's a great person
6. I like him
Das Wasssup:
Now when you say Hilary is a creep, what exactly are you saying? and Why?
She's slimy. She's a socialist. There's claims of sexual harassment directed at her and her husband that she's never denied or addressed. She has said she won't campaign in upstate New York even though the voters there carried her to the Senate. She lied about not bidding for the White House to get to the Senate. She has used tainted and laundered money for her campaign. Her marriage is a sham, and she allowed herself to be publicly humiliated without repercussion towards Bill.
There is no level to how low she will sink in order to be President. More than half the time, I have no idea where she stands on any issue, because she'll say anything to get votes. She didn't decide she was against driver's licenses for illegal immigrants until Spitzer withdrew it, and then she said, "against" even though as Senator she should have publicly proclaimed her position weeks before.
She's a creep.
Your voting for Obama because he's a Democrat, democrats typically are socialists. Socialists are simply working for the good of the country and our society, what's so bad about that. And you can't blame Hillary for her marraige, Bill is what caused it to go up in shams. Technically, she's the victim, and she won't get out because she loves him. I don't understand how that could make her look bad just caring.
Okay, what are the "really innovative ideas that could work" that he doesn't share with Hillary, his policy clone?

I like his health care system more than Hillary's. I also like the declaring of emergency zones for school places like Detroit, where only 20% of kids graduate from high school in 5 years.
Now I'm confused; you say you dislike Hillary because she's socialist, yet you support Obama's government-run healthcare ideas, and you wish the libertarian Ron Paul was actually a viable candidate (while he is totally against any growth of government and, in fact, wants to get rid of Social Security and the Department of Education)?
Where's the consistency? I'm still not convinced that you're looking any deeper than style.

I'm so sick of people saying "Vote for Hillary to make history!" or "Vote for Obama to make history!" Aren't there more important things to base your vote on than race of gender? Shouldn't we vote for the person who we believe will do the best job and represent our views? Really, some people need to grow up.
Just out of curiosity, why did you only include only Hillary and Obama? I'm probably going to vote for McCain, so I'm feeling a little left out. :(

i only submitted Hilary and Obama because of the amount of publicity these two canidates recieve as of now. But honestly we've been in the republic lifestyle for the last 8 years, its only fair for our top2 canidates to be selected as democratic. Its not how they will change history but its what they will change in the country. On my behalf im all against increasing poverty. Im for lowering gas prices, good social security benefits, better and more jobs. You know things of that nature.
Ron Paul all the way baby! :dances:
I agree though, this whole "Lets make history" bullshit is annoying, it doesn't show anything about the candidates. And I can bet you that most people will fall for the ploy sadly.
Hahaha, yay Ron Paul! Too bad he doesn't really stand a chance at this point... ;
Yeah...fucking MSM can't take a candidate like him. I hope someone steps up next election who embodies his ideas if he doesn't.
Pshh, of course not. Hillary and Obama make better TV, as do McCain and Huckabee. The media's such a mixed blessing.
Yep, plus all four line up with the media's ideals. Ron Paul does not for the most part. I hate all the candidate we have now, they all suck, lol.
its not about making history its about who to select to represent us and what we stand for
