The bus lane for buses or cars?

Ok so my daughter has been in pre-k for 7 weeks now. There are signs all around the area at the school for the bus to pull in. It says " for bus use only". What I want to know is why do people think they can park where they know a bus is going to come and drop off kids? They pull up to the front door get out then get their kid out and go inside. While they are inside a bus comes, then another, and so on till we have 6 buses outside and cannot drop off the kids. Now today I was tring to park (I park on the street infront of the school) and there where so many buses backed up because they could not get pass the car infront of the school. So everyone had to sit there and wait for that person to come out.

I know there is a reason they put up signs, and I know that reason. But why is it that some people think they can drive and park where ever they want to. They know the signs are there. They have to, they pass 3 everyday. I mean it will not kill you to park 20 feet away from the school and walk. And god forbid if there is something wrong in the school because then emergency people could not get through. The other week there was a car that went to the front door, did not pay attention to anything around them and almost hit someone. The teacher at the door said something to him about how he drove up there and he could not park there. He told the teacher that he was late and did not have time to walk across the grass to get to the school.

This is something that has been bothering me since my daughter started school. I would like to be able to do something about this. But the board of ED did not do anything but send out letters. That didn't work. The school can only do so much. If anyone has any ideas for me please let me know.

You can't but the school can.

Write a letter to the school board with a suggestion that they hire a tow truck to stand by for the day and tow cars that do this. I have an inkling it would be very effective.
