THE CUTTING WIND

The cutting wind,

The sailboard with its sail

Filled full wind, cutting the gale

In two!

GRADED DEGREE

UP THE

GRADE A DEGREE OR

SO, THEN SLOPE THE GRADE, IN-

STALL A RUN-A-WAY VEHICLE

RAMP, TAKE...

SOJOURNER

Of all

Days beyond my call,

I ran so loud, I caw.

Jazz in hand, the way is jour-

Ney man!

SUNSET

Setting sun is a

Horizon in another

Land of hope, of peace!

CHANTS?

People chant:

We want our rights, here

And now, right(s)?

A NOTION

The notion of dreams

Enshrouding life withstood

Pronounced judgment.

Irretrievably, testaments of

Words woven from dejection

 Fingers the fabric discreetly!

I don't understand what this has to do with gemstones.

Read my blog!

The name of the poetry book is precious gemstones. The poetry ii in sections named after the stones. The end of the book has odds and ends, that section is called in the rock pile, I hope this helps. SAM
