Scientists at the National History Museum in London and Canada's Natural Research Council have discovered a mineral matching the unique chemistry of "Kryptonite,"(as described in the film Superman Returns), which we know as Superman's only weakness in the comics and movies. However, this newly discovered mineral is not in the form of radioactive green crystals from outer space (planet Krypton in the movies), but is a non-radioactive white powder found in Serbia.
