Progess

Progress is advancement, movement in a positive direction, abolishing biases, discriminatory behavior and hatred. To be progressive is to inspire cooperation toward common goals of peace and prosperity, to encourage social change and the betterment of life in general. In relation to geopolitics, the sad reality is that, the former progressive and peaceful Democracy we call America has deviated from its initial course, detailed in our revolutionary founding documents. The United States has abandoned the pursuit of global unity through hypocrisy and dereliction of multilateralist foreign policy. If our great nation is to lead the free world towards global stability and security, we must move towards a more progressive style of diplomacy. Dump our historic “iron triangle” of economic behavior. Meaning, we must stop the juggernaut known as the military-industrial complex. Before we move to reform other nations, we must first clean our own hands. Right our socio-economic situation, then, once we have progressively reformed ourselves, we can project our policies on the world’s devastated regions. For a nation that endeavors to improve others, must first be a shining beacon on that proposed change. Of course, the word progress could be interpreted and integrated into nearly any argument. Nevertheless, progressivism in regards to American foreign and domestic affairs is of the most vital importance in today’s ever-shrinking world.
