I’ve noticed several bloggers submitting the same post multiple times. This should not count toward their total point score! I know that sometimes people post multiple times by mistake..but this is happening way too often. The rules don’t address this problem and I think they should. I hope that the contest judges will siphon through the blogs to make sure people aren’t submitting "copycat postings."
“Copycat Postings

I agree. It is not fair to the other contestants...
that is really silly. I don't know, maybe they are experiencing computer problems? and they've pressed submit more than once..?
Maybe they're just really anxious to get their post up they feel compelled to click on the submit button more than once, I don't know. Hopefully they won't get more points for submitting the same blog.
Generally when I press submit more than once, it erases my blog...but maybe that's just my special talent with computers...
My problem with multiple postings is that they fill up the queue for current blogs, which makes browsing through headlines a lot more tedious.
It says, "Approved postings."
So I'm sure if you notify the management that there are multiple postings, then they will either delete the extra and give the extra reads (and comments) to one thread. But I suggest that you be polite and notify them when you see the extra posts.
Personally, I have seen the server hiccup on the comments and post extra comments, but those by nonstudent participants don't matter anyways.
I have a bad temper. And I am very impatient (my ancesters were nomads). So my finger against my will presses the poor submit button a whole lot of times. Then I get terrified when I see identical twins...
And i feel very guilty.
So, you see, there's another side of the story..
