One day, our minds will wander free....

Blogging. Why do people blog? I have a blog, only to communicate to my friends and family all over the United States. Ive currently been attending the University of South Alabama. Needless to say, it hasn't been much of an educational experience. I cannot complain though. I've learned a few things. There are a couple of decent professors down here in the South. But back to blogging... a blog like this makes me really wonder if people really do read your blogs or not. I'm a journalism major (with a track for magazine journalism), and I'm interested in all sorts of types of events that happen all over the nation and even the world. I like to think of myself as a free thinker. I'm not really sure what this blog is about, but I'm sure it's going to have some kind of purpose in the long run. Maybe I'll end up spouting my girly boy-hair-nail-body-problems, but I really don't have much of that. Although I am a girl, I don't preach about bullshit like all the other girls out there. I'm currently in the library at USA, checking out some stuff on the computers. My computer is being a lame-ass and the screen is broken. Is it fate, karma, or just plain kismet (even though they all mean the same thing, they have different orgins) that creates my computer to malfunction the week before finals? And when I have a paper due? It's stressful and inconvienent. Well, I have to go print out some important information and then I have to find a computer to work on my essay on why you should be pro-stem-cell-research. Au revior, mes amis. ~Rachel
