Can Music Change Your Mood?

I think music is like food. It can melt your heart, make you cry, make you laugh, and even make you angry. Music is so powerful these days. I love listening to country music. Some country songs can make you want to sing in the shower and jump up to two-step, while others can make you walk down memory lane to the good-ol' days when life seemed much more simple. Music to me ranges from a long, quiet walk on the beach to a winding rollercoaster at Fiesta Texas. Life without music would simply be no life at all. Music warms the heart and cools the body. It reminds you of everything you push to be and everything you already  are. Music. What do you think?

I agree. Music is an outlet of expression. And unlike most things has a universal language.

"Our politics are our deepest forms of expression, they mirror our past experiences and reflect our dreams and aspirations for the future."

I think that music can change your mood because one time after hearing the Phil Collins' song, "I Don't Care Anymore", I was like, "Whoa, he really sounded angry in that song." Also, there was one song that I used to dislike called, "Thru These Walls" by Phil Collins because that song used to scare me into thinking that something mysterious and bad was going to happen during that song; but, it doesn't scare me anymore because I've gotten used to hearing that song.

I agree that music can change or influence your mood. An example; sometimes I go on late night walks with my friends and I will be listening to something up-beat like "Hold Music" by Architecture in Helsinki, but then I put on some sadder songs that I think everyone could relate to like "Like Knives" by City and Colour and my mood completly changes.
