My British Friend

I love talking to my British friend, James.  He's tells me stuff that they hear over in England that the government doesn't "allow" us to hear over here.  haha. We had a whole discussion on 9/11.  He heard of a theory about how Bush created thoe events of 9/11 and there has been stuff written over there that explained that.  It's really crazy to think about.  He said stuff about how explosives were planted right before that happened, and how the bomb sniffer dogs were removed from all of those buildings.   He also mentioned stuff about how out of the 15 terrorists that "died' that 9 of them are still alive, and hiding out and stuff.  I guess a bunch of private Americans have put money into looking up this stuff.

I think it's a bit far reaching, some of the stuff that he talked about it. But then at the same time, I really don't know, because all I know is what our government has allowed us to know.  As dictor-ial as that may seem, it's true.

But he also amuses me, because I told him that I was showing my dad Google Earth, and so we were talking about the places that we've seen on there.  I told him that my sister wanted to see the Eiffel Tower... and he replied with a "how come americans think paris is really great and lovely when it's a pile of crime ridden crap" ... he makes me laugh.  I told him that the french government probly paid off our government to teach us that in school.

Gosh he has some radical ideas.  Which amuse me. And that I take with a grain of salt until I can find out for sure what he tells me.

I have a friend in France who said a lot of the same stuff about 9/11 and I thought it was pretty crazy at first. Then I watched loosechange. Go to Google and type in loosechange 2nd edition. You'll see what he's talking about: it's the famous 9/11 conspiracy theory. Boy, it's good stuff. Watch all of it. And Bush put it on his terrorist watch list, which also includes peaceful organizations like foodnotbombs (go to foodnotbombs.net). Anything taht is against him and his foolish domestic/foreign affairs has become terroristical.

Of course we're not allowed to talk about conspiracy theories involving Bush. I'm sure it's treason and a felony and all sorts of other things. Whether or not it's true won't matter because he IS the man in charge. I think he's done his best, I just think his best should have been better. We all have our own opinions and, living in a free country, we have a right to them. Expressing them however... tsk tsk tsk.

Hehe.

Why should talking about conspiracy theory involving Bush be a 'felony'? or even wrong for that matter? My allegiance is not to HIM- it is to this country. Don't confuse what patriotism is. This is a country that has enjoyed freedom of speech, freedom of press. If someone were to find out Bush (or anyone for that matter) does something wrong, they better damn well talk about it! If the Bush administration is goign to start reading our emails, tapping into our phone calls, preventing us from saying waht we really want to say, then how much of a 'free' country are we, how much of a democracy are we?

If the sharing of ideas is suppressed, then this is not a democracy. This dear, would be a dictatorship. Just think of all the peace activists, environmentalists, and other organizations practice their freedom to speak- they are now on Bush's terrorist watch list. Seriously, wtf?

How's that for a thought?

I'm so shocked by your comment I wanna write a whole book aobut it! but i have an exam tomorrow and have procrastinated enough.

I was being sarcastic. i agree with everything you just said!

Good luck.

Your British friend sounds charming. Unfortunately, all his talk of 9/11 conspiracy (which were very likely references to the film 'Loose Change') has been utterly debunked.

Each point made in the film is proven incontrovertibly false on this website:

Enjoy.
