Voting counts!!

My future matters to me!! It may not matter to other people out there, but it does matter to me. I makes me really mad when i ask people if they are registered to vote and they are like "No! why should i, if i were to vote it wouldn't make a difference." I registered to vote the day I turned 18. When i voted the first time, it was amazing. I loved feeling like i was making a difference. None of my friends are registered to vote, and it drives me crazy. I send them links all the time to places where to vote. If i get at least one of my friends to register, I will feel proud, Proud that i helped someone feel the way i did the first time i voted, like they are making a difference!!

Do you know why George W. Bush became president in the first place? Not because he won the majority vote, he won the ELECTORAL votes. This has only happened 4 times in the country, but its true, our votes dont really matter, the electoral college votes really matter.

I agree with meganlamagna. What does the popularity votes really do? To see how popular he is? Our voting doesn't really count because of the electoral college.

We vote on more things than just the President. So by saying your vote doesn't count for anything you are making it sound as if no other voting outcomes you directly control matter.
