An Honest Hero
A hero who fights
I nothing more than the beast he wants to slay
He instantly becomes the things he hates
Upon the instant he takes the action of such thing
These are the consequences all must abide by them
If not they will be hated, killed, and crushed … scorned
That is the society of today
A hero can't be allowed to live
For any action he takes, is against his very title
And thus he falls
Or should I say all those who sacrifice themselves
For others
The love for justice falls on hard rocks
And stone cold hearts
A Hero who seeks justice for everything he knows
Will be hanged for it
Chaos is wanted
And Leaders, Heroes, Soldiers, and Loved ones
Will ultimately perish
What must be done?
What CAN be done?
SO nothing is in vain?
And no one is at lost
AND somehow
In this society
We can make something
That is like a simple diamond
Strong, Bright, and quite a delight
Sigh
Maybe there is such thing
As a Hero these days
Maybe I'll never know
Or
Maybe
I could be the first?

Interesting... though I would put forth that fighting that which is evil is not wrong.
If evil florishes when good do nothing, than the eternal struggle against the darkness is the fight of any true hero.
Fighting is not wrong. Fighting unjustly is.
This society in which there is so much red tape that anybody capable of doing good is so bounded to fight against spoken for evil. I guess I'm a person who favors those vigilantes who take the law into their own hands, like in the movie Walking Tall. but I guess my ideal of Heroes, was that the world doesn't want a hero to make them look bad but wants a martyr for everyone to adore (thus to promote unity and the common good) so many men are sacrificed for the world's own.
