Hey ya'll!!
My name's Miranda. I'm 18 and a high school senior. Technically I'm done with school all except for Spanish. I'm new to blogging(eventhough I have a Brickfish account) so I figured I would let you all know about me! If you care then go ahead and keep reading..If not then stop now and hit the back arrow on your screen to go back to everyone else's controversial blogs.

I am the oldest of five children and we are all homeschooled. I enjoyed it. Alot. I didn't have to sit in class for 8 hours of my day, come home and do 3 hours of homework, I have been able to have a job and have daytime shifts when all the kids were in school. It's been great. I highly recommend homeschooling if you are responsible and disciplined. Now granted it's not for everyone. Some people don't have morals and cheat, some people thrive when they have kids constantly around them, some parents don't make their kids do their stuff, and some kids turn out not knowing how to spell "katt".

My dad is in the Army National Guard and is being deployed to Afghanistan for a year in May of 2009. This of course has caused me to think about how I really feel about what's going on over there and I am becoming more and more concerned about this presidential election(I am republican by the way). I won't get into that stuff here though. There's enough of that if you hit the back arrow on your screen. I am a little concerned for my mother who will be left here with a 15 year old, two 12 year olds, and a 10 year old when my dad leaves. I will be coming home after my first year of college for the summer but will be heading back in August.

College prep. Man. I can't stand it. SATs, essays, applications, financial aid forms, scholarship forms, dorm fees. Not fun. I'm just ready to get in. As you can imagine homeschoolers must go through TONS of red tape in order to prove ourselves "worthy" of going to college. Colleges don't want dumb kids failing out of their schools. I totally understand. My major will be Theatre Education. I am so excited about it. I wish I could skip core classes and jump right into all the theatre classes. I have a passion for all things theatrical and also a passion for teaching kids. I have taught dance classes and substituted in theatre movement classes. I have been dance captain in community theatre productions. I love it! I have participated in shows consisting of....Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, and Kiss Me Kate.

I'll shut up for today. :D
Thanks for reading!!!!
