Just another injury to add Illinois mens bball team

 I was listening to the WDWS radio show this morning and they had Coach Weber on talking about the Arizona basketball game.

Near the end of the show Coach Weber mentioned that Shaun Pruitt complained of swelling in his hand after the Arizona game was over.

Apparently one of the Arizona players had swung his hand down to block a shot by Shaun and had hit Shaun's hand in the process of trying to block the shot.

Coach Weber said that he thought the injured hand was Shaun's left hand.

Coach Weber said that they will take x-rays of the hand to see if there is any damage.

With all of the other injuries going on right now this is the last thing that the team needs to have happen.

I hope that it turns out to only be a bruised hand and not somehing that will keep Shaun out of action for several games.

Coach Weber said that he has never been around a team that has had this many injuries before and this included the time that he was an assistant at Purdue.

I guess the team will just have to hope that more injuries aren't on the way.
