To much eye candy

Too much eye candy is all over America. We have so much to look at in a given day that if we were robots we would have overloads. The television, internet, radio, compact disc, videos, digital videos, camcorders,cars, cell phones, you name it we got, or it is like a feature movie coming soon. Do we multi task? If we are smart we do. In any given day my life demands that I do at least two to four things at the same time. Right now, I am cooking, listening to music, watching the tube, and editing this document at the same time. Some people will read and say awe thats nothing or that does not make sense. I do this, I do that, and blah blah at the same time. My point exactly. Will we ever be able to enjoy life as our ancestors know it. Heck no.At the rate things are going I doubt it. Life as we know it, is just getting more demanding.

Have you ever heard the expression of the Jones's. Well, if not as it goes the superficial type try to keep up with the Jones's. In our society its almost a struggle to keep up with yourselves. For example as computer literate as I am, there is no reason I should not be able to type without looking at the keyboard. I guess bleeping not. I just type as fast as I can. I am making a conscious effort to get better. The hell of a thing is I can write html, connect a computer network, add an hard drive, create power points, excel documents, use photo shop to edit pictures and create layers, but duh I can not remember the 26 letters of the alphabet on a keyboard. How does that work.

As individuals we all learn through experiences in our life. Some people are skilled at reading, some type, some build computers. There is so much to know how to that we can not be know it alls. It is not humanly possible in a time when we are so overwhelmed with products and technology. My goal is to one day learn how to type. Who knows by the time I learn to type the keyboard may be obsolete.
