True Equality

I know that this is a subject that has been done too many times to count and is starting to get a little cliche on political blogs. That said I think I can add some fresh ideas. There is only one race of people on this planet, HUMAN!!!!! So there is no Caucasian, hispanic, black, black American, African American, Japanes American, Canadian American or anything else like that. If you were born in America you are an American or the race Human. If you were born in Africa and moved to America and became a citizen then you take the name of your original country and put it infront of American i.e. "Egyptian American." But only if you were born in another country. If you want to trace you ancestors you could say, "I am an American Human of Scottish, Irish, and French Canadian (one of the few aberations to the single country rule) decent. THis is going to be very hard to force on people but it can be done. A friend of mine went to England a while ago and was with his host parents and he saw a black person he said to his host father, "What do you call the African Americans in this country?" He replied with, "What do you mean?" and he pointed at the man, "We called them Brits just liek we call everyone here." Thats pretty good isnt it. There are some things that we must do inorder to get this to work.

1st and formost repeal Affirmative Action. Let the screams of protest at my white bigotry begin. If you're still reading let me thow out an example. Non-minority Fire Fighters are required to ace the written test at the end of their training while minorities are only required to get 80%. I don't know about you but just based on that alone I would rather be saved by a white fire fighter. Another example. Just after being getting his honerable discharge from the army my father tried to get a job at the post office. There was three open spots. The government rules is that they take minorities then veterans, the everyone else. Three minoritites applied along with him, he scored the highest on the test but they gave the jobs to the minorities. That is just not right. Veterans should get the first pick no matter what! They give their lives to protect the rights and freedoms of the legal Citizens of this country. The injustice makes me sick.

While I'm sick I'll talk about my college applications. Two people apply to the same prestigious technical school, they both have similar grades, both get accepted easily. One student gets twice the academic scholarship as the other. The student with twice the scholarship is a women. I know that the college really wants women students because its split 70/30 (guy to girl) but still. But there is also the glass celing to discuss. So we are still discriminating against women and for them at the same time. If you want to by cynical it is because of the glass celing that women get more money for college. Big corporations want female workers so that they can pay them less for the same work, thats really cynical and I'm only saying it not to leave it out.

The other thing we need to do is get rid of the race related award shows i.e. the BET awards. One of the only ways to do this would be to go against the whole idea of this Human race idea and start the White Music Awards and the White Grammies etc. This would get such a loud public outroar from white liberals that we could convince people not to hold the other shows that discriminate against white people. I know that that iead sounds a little backwards but so do alot of ideas that work. There are so many other minor things that need to be done that would make this blog way too long to read that I will just leave them out. I really do hope that we can make a truely equal environment in this country and do it without a massive amount of new laws.
