Discover Your Destiny

As I get older (I'm only 22!), I am learning more about the importance of discovering who I am as an individual and how I should carry out my destiny. Last month, I graduated with a bachelor's of science degree in marketing with magna cum laude honors. Now, I am embarking on a new journey--LAW SCHOOL. As days pass by, one by one, I mark off the calendar to a new chapter in my life. Sometimes, I feel a rush of anxiety and intense excitement with the passing of each minute. But despite my fear, I truly believe I am on my destined path.

As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to help people. Not just giving them the directions to a nearby classroom, but actually leading them to the open door of the room. I truly get a “high” off of assisting other people in their success. It’s definitely no fun achieving your goals if others can’t share their accomplishments with you.

So, are you discovering your destiny? Do you have some idea of what you are destined to do on this Earth? If so, share it! And if not, take a look at your life and find out what you do best.; you’ll be surprised!

Blog to you soon!

There's some pretty deep questions in there! Who knows what our destiny is? Is it really something we can "find" or is it something we can only realize once we're in it? Plans change so quickly! Currently, I plan to go to law school as well (we should whine about papers sometime!), but once I get out, will the rest of my plans fall through?

I hope that I will achieve my goals and I look forward to the future. It sounds like you're already well on your way!

Despite change, we must still plan and prepare for tomorrow. That's how we get ready for any and every opportunity. It will work out in your favor.

Thanks,
Shayla

"who I am as an individual and how I should carry out my destiny."

Destiny so often has a connotation that places it out of our hands, like fate or predestination. That line is exactly how I view destiny...I create it.
