What are we doing with our lives?

What are we doing with our lives? We go to elementary school, then middle school, then high school, and then after college or the miltary or some job. Why? So we can make some money to spend on materialistic things and then die. Woo! Sounds like a blast to me. I pity most the college kids. Sure they get more opportunity to get a "better" job, but if the fail once throughout college, they are screwed. They will have to admit to their family they failed and then they will have to pay off ridculous college loans. Why do we have to pay so much for college anyway? It's scary how much college students pay each year to learn about things that may or may not be relevent to them in the future. (As an Animal Science major, do I really need to know the economically state a country such as Brazil? Probably not.) Why can't the government, instead of starting unjust wars in other countries, use the tax money to pay for college? Then everyone could go for virtually free! We could solve a lot of educational problems that way. More on this later.
