I do not understand censorship when it comes to the human anatomy. Never have, never will. I don't understand what's wrong with being nude, calmly or flamboyantly, and I don't see what's wrong with sex. I suppose it all comes down to people's religious morals in the end and like I've said a million times, religion kills/opresses/haults.
"In the Netherlands people can be naked in their gardens, the beach and recently the gym. But in America, even chocolate sculptures can't be without clothes. What gives?
When Catholic protesters recently shut down a New York exhibit displaying a naked, life-sized Jesus sculpted from chocolate, the outcry wasn't totally unexpected. Labeled offensive by critics, the artwork touched an angry nerve by pushing religion and nudity -- two substances that historically don't mix -- into the limelight. While the media was quick to exploit the story, it also expressed surprising modesty when it came to the naked Christ, avoiding the full frontal and opting for photos of the Lord's backside.
But in Europe, and particularly the Netherlands, where bakeries display anatomically correct marzipan nudes in their front windows right next to chocolate bunnies and chicks, such furor over confectionary draws a complete blank. On this side of the Atlantic, when it comes to nudity, Europeans happily assert they've got absolutely nothing to hide."--By Dara Colwell, AlterNet. Posted April 19, 2007.

I'm not afraid of being naked, it's quite enjoyable. But I have to say, I would take serious issue with anyone naked at the gym. It's one thing to use a piece of equipment after someone's clothed sweaty ass has been on it... quite another to do so after someone's naked sweaty ass has been. Not cool. At all.

I know lots of people that don't have a problem with being in the nude. It's just the people who do. Ugh. Why?

in other countries not mostly everyone hear has the "ideal body type" Personally there are a lot of people i just dont want to see naked~ but yah being naked can be pretty freaking great~!
Sure, some are far prettier to look at than others, I'll give you that. But the human body, whether it be 100 pounds or 400 pounds, is a work of art.

Agreed. I would much prefer the "cleaner" version (in terms of form), but after spending a year and a half working in a nursing home, you realize that it doesn't matter what a body looks like now, they all start looking the same once you hit about 70 or so anyway.

Do you really want to see someone's naked, wrinkled, pimply butt? Imagine a fat old man walking by with bits of toilet paper stuck to the hairs down there and brown smears. Is that something you want to see several times a day? I know I would not. I think if we imagine what the world would be like if people stopped wearing clothes that you will agree.
Also, it is much more than religious views. Try not to just scapegoat like that. Have you ever been to Japan? Religion in Japan is largely syncretic bordering on agnosticism(hardly dogmatic), and yet they have more strict rules than the US's conservatives about showing skin. They make most Evangelical Christians look liberal.
They say if you want to try someone else's tea to see if it is good, you must first empty your cup of your own tea. Before railing against those 'prudish cloth-wearers' why not try seeing things from their point of view first?

I really wish I hadn't read that...wow.
Anywho, I think that if you want to be naked do it in a non-public place, but if its outside on your yard then hey, its your property go ahead. But yeah, I don't want to see everyone naked *shudders*
