China, European Union, All-Europe Bball team

About 2.5 billion people are capitalist now in China. Think about the power shift now. China has THE most pull in the world as far as economy goes, they just haven't fully realized or used it yet. But it's coming, and soon. We've enjoyed our stay at the top of the economic food chain for decades, not long till we're just second best. And look over there at Europe. The European Union is becoming stronger every day. What would happen if they really did unite and form the country United States of Europe? It may not be quite as silly as it sounds. There are language barriers and political barriers, but otherwise most of Europe is already one nation. If those final barriers are taken down, they would shoot past us as a world power and rival China. We would be way back in third place, scrambling to grasp our new situation. Not to mention we'd be screwed in the Olympics. We're getting our butts handed to us now in basketball, imagine what an All-Europe team would be able to do to us. Not pretty. We see ourselves as so high and mighty, above all other nations and peoples as THE best in the world. As far as a nation to nation comparison, we are. But, compared to them all, we are nothing.
