My First Blog Here

Hey everybody.  I'm new to this site and trying to get the scholarship this site offers.  At any rate, I am just posting and saying "Hello" to everybody here.  I will also say that most of posts will probably be, for the most part, about nothing more than being angsty. Because of that, I am apologizing now.  I also tend to just ramble.

I also think i will post some things about myself.  I am a highschool senior going to college in fall of '06 for language education.  I also love video games, anime, and most things japanese.  I like to sing and play piano, and performing gives me this unexplainable rush.  Today at school, for example, I was playing "All You Wanted" by Michelle Branch at the beginning for chorus, and almost everybody joined in.  I was nervous about screwing up notes or the tempo, but i did fine.  I recently started taking piano lessons (if you count september as being recent), and i think i took to it rather quickly.  I like learning how to sing songs in japanese, my current favorite is Cruel Angel Thesis, the opening theme song to Neon Genisis Evangenion.  Next friday, i will be attending an anime/video game convention, Tekkoshocon.  In my spare time, away from school work and my job, I watch TV (shows like Gilmore Girls, Simpsons, Fairly Odd Parents, Family Guy, and other shows that dont really relate to each other) or movies (usually of the disney variety).

Thats all I can think to post at the moment.  I'll try to come up with worth-while posts soon.
