Ok so here's the deal, A while ago the federal government mandated that Con Edison can no longer be a conglomerate of the Electricity Supply, which means that they can no longer control and dominate where ,how and who we purchase our electricity from, meaning that now we as consumers now have a choice to choose another electric supply company other than Con Ed. Thats putting it simple in Laymans terms because i'm well aware that when you use the proper terminology in todays' society people for some strange reason get turned off and run from you as you've instantly contacted the bubonic plague or something.

But anyways it's called dergulation of energy and yes it has happened before with the telephone companies and long distance providers but never with electricity. This process only happens once in a lifetime and when it does those individuals who seize the opportunity and take advantage opportunity of it are the very ones we secretly admire from afar and wish we had their life. My question is why??? Why would people rather admire others for being brave and courageous and not letting opportunites slip thorough their fingers when they too can do what it is that their neighbor is doing and reap the rewards rather than stand by watching silently wishing it was them?

Perfect scenario as it relates to this whole energy deregulation thing. The federal government states that Con Ed must give up one aspect of its electric supply, meaning they can not supply, deliver and service the lines for electricity consumers. Rather than remove the meters and re-wire the entire state, Con ed agrees to no longer be a supplier of electicity. Ok so now the government says to consumers if you'll switch to another electric supply company we'll guarantee you up to 7% savings on your electric supply and in addition to the savings we the federal government will eliminate the taxes on the delivery portion of your bill. So you pay no taxes ever and you save 7% per month on your electric bill if you'll just give the little companies that are on the come up a try.

Now I don't know about you but for me, whenever the government is going to be as generous as this I always makesure I mark my calendar so I get in on some of the action. (The same way when I feel that the Uncle sam is ripping us off with outrageous gas prices and mark my calendar so I can remember not to buy gas on certaing days and from certain companys). Ok so why in the world isn't everyone leaping like bull frogs to save some money? That one really boggles me.
Now lets take this electricity thing even one step farther. Ok so maybe the 7% saving really doesn't amount to much and isn't enough to make everyone spring into action. But what about the new company (the little guy) Ambit Energy who wants to be your electric supplier so bad they're giving everyone who switches from Con Ed to Ambit Energy a free 3day/2nite luxury hotel/resort accomodations just for trying their service for "FREE" for 60 days.
They have no contract and no commitments, meaning you can switch over to Ambit energy and we already know the federal government guarantees that when you switch to any other company you'll save 7% on your electric bill and pay NO tax on the delivery portion of your bill and now if you'll switch to this particular company company and pay no cost to switch and sign NO contract whatsoever you'll receive a free , 3day/2nite luxury hotel/resort accomodations just for trying their service.
Yeah my feelings are the same, are they out of their mind do you know how many people are going to switch just to get the free trip then switch back, but they dont even care if you switch back that's why they don't make you sign a contract like the other companies do. They even have a referral program that once you become a customer and you refer 5 friends to try their service for "free" for 60 days , Ambit Energy is going to pay for you to go on a luxurious 5day/4nite cruise just name the location. Is anyone home, is anyone reading this blog!!!!I

Here you have the government telling people hey it's ok to switch to another company and if you do we'll guarantee that you'll save more money, then you have a new electric company saying the governments right, and if you bring your business to me I'll send you on a fabulous vacation for free!!! Why isn't everyone taking advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity amazes me. The fact that you can look on your electric bill and actually see printed on your bill which comes from your current electric provider the very words " save money on your electric cost by switching to another esco" that should be more than enough to get everyone rolling in on savings.
The Lights are on, but is anyone home????

Umm...Can you space out the paragraphs a little more (the average blog-paragraph is about 2-4 sentences to allow for easy reading on a computer)?
