Of course my favorite topic of the day..Bushisms. I seriously wonder why he can not just read his nicely little prepared speech for once. Why is it that recent policitians can not do much correctly? If you are the first of something or have an ability to be under a higher scrutiny, why bother doing something your obviously going to be critized for. "As you can possibly see, I have an injury myself -- not here at the hospital, but in combat with a cedar. I eventually won. The cedar gave me a little scratch. As a matter of fact, the Colonel asked if I needed first aid when she first saw me. I was able to avoid any major surgical operations here, but thanks for your compassion, Colonel." --George W. Bush, after visiting with wounded veterans from the Amputee Care Center of Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas, Jan. 1, 2006. I wonder what was he thinking at this point. Some people might make the arguement that he's just trying. Trying involves some brilliance here. I wonder that if a kindergartener would make the same mistakes. I would hope so considering in kindergarten a child is around five years old. Bush is definatly not five. Even though some of his attitudes would make me reconsider that. The best part, the only bushisms I've focused on are from 2006 and 2007. What in the past has this "brilliance" man come up with? Many many things which makes me worried about the competence and future of this country. "Those who enter the country illegally violate the law." --George W. Bush, Tucson, Ariz., Nov. 28, 2005. Thank you captain obvious. Who is the person suppose to be allowing for border guard? I think that would be back to captain obvious. "[I]t's a myth to think I don't know what's going on. It's a myth to think that I'm not aware that there's opinions that don't agree with mine, because I'm fully aware of that." --George W. Bush, Philadelphia, Pa., Dec. 12,2005. I mean I think Bush should realize we know this already and he does not need to state it. He seems to enjoy coming up with this overstated concepts, just to seem smart. And don't get me wrong, I'm not critizing the Republican party. I actually agree with some republican points. Just not Bush. And who ever came up with the brilliant idea for him to be the leader of the party, maybe you should just make a casual hunting date with Cheney.

What is your point with this? I really hate the whole "Bushisms" idea. Clinton made mistakes, Carter, Reagan, Roosevelt, Harding, Lincoln....etc. etc. Some more than others. The only thing that a post like this creates is tension among other bloggers.
Yeah they made mistakes, but they realized they made mistakes. What speech has Bush given that he really and truly sounded intelligent?

"So stuff that in your pipe and smoke it!"
If people are writing his speeches, which they are, and he still can not get it...what hope should we have for him

And Carter was a good public speaker? I mean, he hated the Jews....
Bush slips up sometimes...yea. Could any one of you do better if you were in his shoes, with the responsibility he has--weighing down on his shoulders, being constantly bombarded with speeches and questions...cut the guy a break.
As time progresses I'll get to all those little annoyances by others. Don't worry about it. And you don't like reading it, then don't. Simple enough
