Presidential Seat. I think his preacher screwed up. He basically dropped obama chances of winning the elction. Is there more chances for hillary for rising up in the presidential campaign.
I asked the same question to a friend of mine Phil. Phil Said "people shouldn't be obama in charge of someone else mistakes". He said obama should not be considered that kind of a person. He also state why his preacher has anything to do with government. For example because his preacher screwed up he should not be blamed for those actions.
I don't think people should think obama is going to be a bad president because of his preachers remarks about racism.

Obama sought to quell a political firestorm ignited when news outlets called attention to sermons by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, which the Illinois senator attended for two decades.
"We have a choice in this country. We can accept a politics that breeds division, and conflict, and cynicism," he said. "Or, at this moment, in this election, we can come together and say, 'Not this time.'"

The Obama quote at the end is just so generic, and typical of Obama. He could answer absolutely anything that way.
Here's the thing. Obama basically has the Democratic nomination, and I can't see a scandal now destroying his chances in the general election (almost eight months away). Plus more people are hearing about the context of the speeches ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=RvMbeVQj6Lw and http://youtube.com/watch?v=QOdlnzkeoyQ ) and Obama's full response ( http://youtube.com/watch?v=pWe7wTVbLUU ), a 37 minute speech that has over 4 million views on YouTube if you combine views for the different versions. I heard that you have to watch the whole video to add to the view count, so if that's true, Obama's response is reaching a lot of people.
Plus, in the polls Obama dropped a little bit after the Wright stuff came out, but after the speech he regained most of what he lost, so if you can trust the polls (which you can sometimes) then he'll do okay.
Isn't it funny how now that the primaries are over with, Hillary and Barack are best buddies? It was like one day they were bad mouthing each other, and the next they were suddenly talking each other up. This is the reason why I wish we could just do away with the party system and totally overhaul the way the government is run. Unfortuntaly, this isn't a realistic option.
