So, if anyone knows me well enough they know i am a photographer, they know i eat dream and breath photography, it is something i am so passionate about i pretty much carry both my cameras with me everywhere as well as at least 200 bussiness cards and my mini portfolio(yes i have a travel potfolio :)~ they also know that i do everything from families, weddings, to artistic(my best friend and i have been known to break into abanondend places, or even climb things to get the perfect shot..thats how crazy we are when it comes to photography.. Just about all of my friends have my bussiness cards that say OH SNAP! Photography. All of them know about my websites and just about all of them are in my portfolio at least once. Now i never charge my friends because they are nice enough to let me use their shots for my portfolio..and they put up with just about every crazy idea i have, and usually when they need me to do pictures for them i will do it. However. Sense my baby came 2 months premature i have put the photography to rest so i can focus of her health and well being.
Okay, now here is where i get mad, when i offer to do soemthing, it works around my time, and Isabelle's sceduel. like i said i do not charge and because of that if your pictures are just because pictures, then i demande some respect. my baby can not be outside for to long, and quite frankly i would ather spend time with her anyways. So when this girl who i do not evenliike asked me to do her pregnancy pictures i said okay. fine i will do them, and not i regreat it. first after i ofered my husband and i were at the welcome home cookout that amanda and i had, i had one long island iced tea at 3 pm....yesit made me a bit tipsy, but then at 2:30 am we were getting ready to go and this girl wants to say that no i am not driving home and she is going to keep my baby for the night??? umm hello it had been 12 hours. and i had one drink....do not tell me what i am and am not going to do, esp when i had sweet tea for the rest of the night...
so the next day she want s to send me a text saying "so are we gonna do the pix or not"?
and when i say yea i guess so she the replies back "okay so pick a time them because i need to know"
okay, well i told her i would have to get back to her because it depended on my husbands scedual to watch Izzy and it had to be before three. i told her to call me back which she never did....
so i figured okay she must not want me to do them, i have other things toworry about than her, umm like my husband and my baby. so i log onto my e-mail today and i have this rude e-mail sayonig "thanks for getting back to me i was really looking forward to the pictures...whatever"
umm first i told her to call me back, second how does she expect me to drop everything for her when she wants to be nothing but rude to me????
sorry i don;t think so.
so i have some to the conclusion that from now on i am not going to do pictures for free for anyone.
now it is 50.00 a shoot for unlimited pictures, and 20.00 a C.D.
you won;t find anyone who will do them as cheap as i am and still get nice pictures.
however weddings and big events go up to 70.00 a shoot plus 20.00 a cd.
anyways yeah...sorry that was a personal rant. i am just sick of people thinking they can take advantage of me. ugh

Cool i checked out your cafepress photography. You've got your business going and everything. Thats great with a baby and all. I am going into the pharmaceutical field and everything but i happen to love art. I think i get the passion from my dad who used to paint. I think aside from doing pharmacy when i graduate, i would love to have hobbies. My hobby would prolly be making the best lawn/garden.
It makes you feel real good to be doing something you love. Im not a business person but i love projects where i have to create a company and stuff. What you've got is wonderful. Keep it up!

yea photography is my passion, i do it on the side though, i am going to school for physical therapy though. you like to do landscaping?? thats awesome i absoutly love gardening. it's a greatr stress reliever.
