Isn't it weird how no matter how many people tell you not to do a certain something, you still do it? Knowing full well you could regret it and could be a making a huge mistake? I guess sometimes though, you just have to do things the wrong way in order to learn a lesson. It's something that's makes you stronger and less naive about how people truly are and how the real world really is. I am having a really tough time letting some things from my past go, but I just need to do it. I need to get over it.
It's not good to dwell on the past because it justs hurts the future. A friend told me this, "Don't think about what you've done or what you're about to do...think about what you're doing right now, in this moment....if you 'sew good seed' in each moment, then you'll have nothing to worry about or to fear...and you'll have nothing to regret." I've been trying to work on that...but it's so easy to worry about everything rather than to be confident...that takes courage.
So I'm going to work on not holding onto past mistakes and just disregard them as a lesson learned. Each experience we have makes us who we are...whether it be good or bad. Bad stuff is bound to happen...you can't avoid it unless you live inside your house like a hermit with no social connections...but I guess even then something bad could happen to you like on Ocean's Twelve when they rob the hermit rich guy...that was a good movie trilogy by the way...recommend you watch them if you haven't.
