Back to.....Myspace

Like the rest of my generation, our phones become our lives, fast. We become addicted to the instant gratification of having the whole world and our entire social lives at our finger tips. Well, when those addictions get too bad, and the bill gets to high, things don’t get paid. In this case though, the phone bill was cut. What does this do to a teenage girl, besides leave her “all alone?”
In my case, I went to MySpace, a site a friend introduced to me about three years ago. I realized, it’s a nice way to keep in touch with friends WHILE learning about new music and talking to new bands, find out about local shows and express you individualism via layouts, icons, pictures and friends.
Well sure enough my visits to this site became more frequent and eventually, longer. It got to the point where I would be on for hours!!! From the moment i woke up until I went to bed. IT was bad. Once I realized I had a problem, I did some research. “How to get over MySpace addictions.” All I got where tips like:
-Delete your myspace
-tell everyone to call you
Yeah right!!! Like I’m going to give all my MySpace friends my phone number!! So I figured out my own way to get over it. Instead of going on MySpace, I would find other things to do, like clean my room or work on a project. If I did go on MySpace, I would get up every half hour and come back later. Hopefully this helps someone who had an addiction too:]

A little substance to your replies and comments would probably be appreciated.

I hate myspace for a number of reasons... the biggest of these reasons is that it's full of bugs and hackers. I also hate how addicting it can be. After my myspace account was hacked into I decided enough was enough and I don't use it anymore.
