Obama unfortunantley did not put away Hillary Clinton on Super Tuesday 2. However, on the Republican side Huckabee officially dropped out. This makes for a very questionable situation that the Democrats face, when there is only one outstanding Repubican. John McCain will have now until the end, to campaign for the general elections. This raise the question should Hillary drop out? My answer is yes!
There's two distinct reasons that I believe Hillary needs to drop. First, I look at it from the statistical side, whereas Barack Obama has more delegates and is still generating superdelegates. If we want to look to the cold hard facts, it's getting more and more difficult for Hillary to gian mathematical assurance. She doesn't have enough delegates. Second, I look to the gray area of the Democratic party. It's become very evident that the democratic party will have trouble with Hillary in the whitehouse. Even her superdelegates are moving from her to Obama. So when it comes down to the popularity contest and who the democrats are going to want to see, it's Barack Obama. These are the two major reasons that Democrats need to politically force Hillary Clinton out of the race. If she stays in it and continues to drag Obama down we aren't going to see a Democratic President. Hillary Clinton your time has come, leave now!

yes

In order for you to say Obama has more numbers than Clinton you need to look at the states each candidate has won. Even though Obama has won more states than Clinton, if it were the general election who would win? Clearly Clinton would have far more electoral votes than Obama, since he has not won states with large amounts of electoral votes.
Secondly, you saying that Obama is getting more support from the super delegates doesn't mean anything either. You need to remember that super delegates can change their votes anytime they want until the election.
I'm not trying to say that Clinton shouldn't leave because I personally don't like her. What I am trying to say is that you shouldn't count her out of the race just yet, and she is still a strong contender.
Why does she need to drop out? She still has a chance of winning, so wouldn't that just be a waste of time and money for her to do so. She needs to prove to everyone she can make it to the end and show she's strong enough to be president. Go Hillary! Besides this makes the race a lot more interesting. I mean look at the republicans how boring was that race! So Hillary should totally stay in. I have faith in her.
So in response to the question: HILL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She won't though. She is in it to the end I'm sure. I dislike her even more than Obama. Ever since this election has started all we have heard about is "Clinton-Obama" over and over and over. I think it would be hilarious if McCain won.
Dropping out of the race now would be a bad move for Hilary. She still has a small chance at winning the primary and perhaps the presidential elections too. I say, as long as she has that small chance, she should certainly take it. It can't hurt to try. Shes the first woman to ever come as far as she has with this much support behind her and that's something she should be proud of. It means our country is becoming a little less biased against feminine leaders.

I am so sick of her. She is a liar (Bosnia) and a hypocrite. She took her time releasing her tax returns like she was above the law. In the debates she acts like she is in control and she backtalks the people who ask questions. She acts like a priviledged b**ch who thinks this election belongs to her. She takes Obama's words out of context and her and her husband focus on character assasination instead of the issues. Obama is not the type to get dirty with her, he wants to focus on the issues. One thing you can definitely see is that Obama is always respectful to her, very dignified, and does not go attacking her out of nowhere. She is always starting the attacks, whining about stupidness like a little kid (he wanted to be a president since kindergarten, that's not fair; Obama likes Republican ideas--I mean come on Hillary you are so dumb). She disgusts me and has not acted like a president this whole time. Obama is dignified and would represent America well. But the American public is so stupid and superficial that many people actually believe Hillary. The problem is that here is not enough education in America, and too many people are more interested in show business than in going to college and learning how to think. Too many people just follow what they hear on TV. That's how we got into the Iraq war in the first place. People weren't thinking. If you check the stats, the people who are more educated flock to Barack Obama. Probably because they can see what's really going on, that Hillary is a liar, a whiner, a fake crier, a fight-starter, someone who will do anything she has to and say anything she has to so that she can take the office. Now that is NOT someone I want to represent me at 3 a.m. Give me a break. What the hell has she done as FIRST LADY? Anyhow, I just had to get that out of my system. I can't even look at her on TV anymore, because she just disgusts me. She makes me retch. If she wins the nomination, I will either vote for McCain or not vote. There is no way I am voting for that....thing. She sure is not a person.
Just letting you know I feel the same as you and furthermore also feel she would just make the United States look like idiots.
For all your talk about being educated you said one of the stupidest things in the world. "If Hillary wins the nomination I will vote for McCain." Have you not been listening to anything? Barack's and Hillary's positions on the issues are so minor that you would need some really good lawyers to sort out how they differ on policy. If you don't like how she plays politics that's a different story. Politics is a contact sport not conducive to people who can't take a punch and keep their cool.
I'm so tired of fairweather Democrats, who clamor about being for change and then threaten to vote for the same exact policies that have destroyed our country for the past eight years. First go find out what you believe in then talk about voting.
First off you quoted the poster wrong, second that was the poster's opinion to post how they feel about who they would vote for and telling someone it is the "stupidest things in the world" for them to speak freely about thier feelings on the situation tells me one of two things. Either A) You are a Hillary supporter and take things way too personally, or B) You are ignorant in the effect that it doesn't matter how educated you are, you are still entitled to an opinion and the fact that the poster was able to form such opinion shows that they are in fact educated and that they know about the subject. This is not saying that I am calling you uneducated, just that you may have different views then others and that doesn't make the other stupid because its not YOUR view.
The statement about politics being a contact sport, well I don't see it that way. So does that make me stupid? No, it means that I don't personally believe in what you say....It's not my opinion. But really politics is not a contact sport in my view, in fact I see it more as an Business Competition like when a major corporation take on bids from subcompanies for a particular job that the corporation needs done. We as voters are the corporation and the nominees are the subcompanies, they take the information they know and then compile it and set up a presentation of what they can do for us and then we take that information and we decide what subcompany can better suit our needs and expectations.
Your argument about why Hillary should've dropped out after North Carolina and Indiana is fatally flawed. The fact is that neither candidate would've won without the support of super delegates and super delegates are only loyal to whomever is giving them their next paycheck. So until Obama hit the magic number of delegates, Hillary had a reason to keep competing. I don't know about you, but I would much prefer to beat someone who was fighting her hardest to win than some coward who laid down in the middle of the fight. In addition, Hillary staying in the race also helped strengthen the Democratic Party in all 50 states. When Barack finally hit the magic number Hillary did realize she had lost, but I think she needed some time to put together a speech that would really bring the party together. She gave a rousing speech and I'm sure more than a few people thought to themselves "Well, she would've made a damn good President as well."
"If she wins the nomination, I will either vote for McCain or not vote."
I didn't quote the poster wrong at all. The above quote is his exact words. I would prefer that he didn't vote at all, but it's his prerogative to make bad decisions. Don't expect me to stand by and exalt his views when I don't agree with him. It is my opinion that his view is the stupidest in the world. I didn't call him stupid, I said his above statement is stupid. It is stupid because Hillary and Barack differ very slightly on the issues while McCain is light years away from what either of them is proposing. I voted for Obama, but I also support Hillary and I'm tired of all the Hillary haters.
Well I am not saying I hate Hillary, and you are entitled to your opinion as I stated in my post. I will say on my take of all of this is that it appears that some just cant take the fact that people dont see that there are some out there that just bottom line do not want to see Hillary in office. Some cannot swallow that and this is why they bash other people about thier views. In my opinion, thats the same as Hillary herself. Bash Obama in order to belittle him because he has different opinions on the issues that you do. Meanwhile you look like a childish idiot becuase now it sounds like your in this phase of the "Nuh uh". Im sorry but my view of Hillary in office is just this...if she were to have made it, it would have been a mockery of the United States and I really at this point do not think that other countries would take the U.S. seriously. Again this is MY opinion and take it as you will.
