Hi
I have four impacted wisdom teeth which needs to be removed.IM SCARED. all the bleeding all the complications and the time it takes to heal.Does anyone know of any procedure where a laser can be used in the extraction process of wisdom teeth? have a look at this website W http://www.simplestepsdental.com/SS/ihtSS/r.WSIHW000/st.31850/t.35031/pr.3.html it says a laser can be used to cut through the gum and bone thats what i understood.Anyways is there a possibility or not ? what is the latest technology available?I also heard that some dentists after wisdom teeth removal do not use stitches but they make use of a laser. Is this true? if so does anyone know of such a dentist who does this sort of procedure? and why do they do it? is it better?

I had the same worries when I was going into my wisdom teeth surgery. I didn't go the laser route, but I did have an excellent surgeon. Be hopeful and don't worry too much! Things will be okay and the pain won't last too long. I am not sure what impacted wisdom teeth are, but mine were coming in perpendicular to the rest of my teeth and mine turned out just fine! Good luck!! :)
Ya i got the same problem as you had.Im just gona remove them soon. They hurting too much
I get my wisdom teeth out on Thursday. I have not heard anything about the techniques, except that one girl in my chem class had to have her teeth shattered, then removed. I have impacted teeth, but my dentist figures that he can remove them himself, instead of referring me to an oral surgeon for the task, so we'll see how it works out.
