But i fear that it is only an ideal, something that we will wish and dream and fantasize about forever. But i really dont see any plausible solution that would be accepted by either party. Both feel that they have a right to that land, and that the land was given to them by god through their holy books, and that is what will get in the way of any negotiations. Neither is willing to give up what they believe is rightfully theirs. I personally support Israel, because I am jewish, and i dont feel that is is the Israeli's fault that this problem is going on today. Nor is it the Palestinians. It is the United States' fault, along with the rest of the world. Israel was created in 1948 after WWII. The land that was to be used to create this country had to come from somewhere... so they decided upon the holy land. Only problem was... someone was already living there! However, the United States brushed this little problem aside, and just decided to call that land Israel, creating a home for refugees of the Holocaust, but simultaneously creating tons of refugees of those who lived there when the land was called Palestine. And now it is just a huge mess over there.

There can never be peace amongst cheaters. The landed was cheated out of palestinian hands by the bristish government and now the palestinians have nothing.You're right! someone was living there...and guess hwat happened to those people..they were left homeless..refugees.....their homes were stolen fromt hem and the can't stop fighting for what is rightfully theirs.
Israel has given back large tracts of land back to the Palestinians. And what do they have to show for it? Well, the Palestinians use the land to launch even more bombs at the Israelis. And we wonder why an agreement can't be reached.

You act like the palestinians are the ones with the bombs.. well you're wrong. they have crappy homemade bombs..but mostly rocks to through at the tanks that israels drive thru the streets. everyone knows that israel has the most advanced military technology in the world...and who d u think they use them on? that's right..people who don't have anything to fight back iwth. Just b/c some palestinians use suicide bombs to instead of launching well developed bombs, they're the only politically incorrect ones. well guess what, they're not alone n this fight. Israel is just as responisble and probably moree.

No. The Palestinians have quite a few bombs, rockets, guns, etc. The only people who use stones are angry teenagers... who, btw, often have guns as well.
